Le XTREME 256 définit la prochaine génération de matrice de commutation en Bande-L QUINTECH , Cette matrice comporte jusqu’à 256 ports dans un châssis compact 12 RU. Le système est un système sans ventilateur, commutateur matriciel RF Bande L non bloquante , alors que toute entrée peut être acheminé vers une ou plusieurs sorties.
Les Méthodes avancées de conception RF et de gestion de puissance permettent à l’XTREME 256 d’atteindre des performances de commutation RF matricielle maximales tout en réduisant la consommation d’énergie jusqu’à 80%. Le système apporte l’expansion par réduction et permet à l’utilisateur de réduire au minimum l’encombrement avec son encombrement hautement évolutive. Le commutateur dispose d’une architecture matricielle flexible (brevet en instance) qui prend en charge une variété de grande symétrique tels que 128×128 ou des configurations asymétriques exclusives de l’industrie telles que 48×208, 64×192, 160×96 dans un seul châssis. Le XTREME 256 supporte également l’expansion de l’architecture en multi-châssis jusqu’à 2048×2048.

Le châssis Intelligent Optribution® et ces modules sont polyvalents et peuvent accueillir jusqu’à 20 modules optiques Tx et Rx et jusqu’à 40 canaux en utilisant des cartes doubles.. Les plages de fréquences disponibles en bande L sont de 950 à 2150 MHz, en bande L étendu de 700-2300 MHz et en CATV / large bande de 50 à 1000 MHz.
Le fond de panier RF peut être configuré avec une redondance N + 1 pour le haut débit et la Bande L. Configurable a distance via l’interface Web et SNMP.
